June 16th:
Bob - KI6BZR and Ken - K6WLS went to the Repeater site to remove brush around the building. The attached photos show some before and after pictures of Thursdays work. The brush is clear to about +/- 20' at this point. It is our opinion that we should remove an additional 10 or 12 more feet of brush across the entire down hill side of the building. The brush is much heavier material at that point but its removal would provide a much more adquate fire break. There is also some debris thrown down the hill there that should be removed.
Some minor repairs were made to one of the antennas while at the site. The wind (assumed) broke the control antenna beam shaft off. It was shortened up and re-attached.
